Thoughts on this past year of posts:

I’m interjecting a short post with an attached short story. This is for two reasons:
1. I find it easier to post multi-part stories if the last digit of the part conforms to the last digit of the date. I know that is lame, but it works for me to keep everything aligned.
2. I’m surprised that I haven’t run out of stories to repost for the first time on this blog. My first post was on August 15, 2020. I posted one of my first stories, Jeremiah. I still think that this story holds up after probably 15 years, and I think six computers. I was dealing with body morphs even back then.
If I had not posted many of the longer multi-part stories by clustering the parts into more manageable chunks, it would take closer to three years to have posted this many. I also tend to post these multi-part stories in sequence, and try not to start posting parts of a story until I have the story ended, or at least to a stopping point.
I also try to work within worlds:
The Sins Universe, which is the stories of John and Bel, two now demi-demons. John was a mortal, but Bel, the son of a combined mating of Beelzebub and Asmodeus, and one of their mutual female followers. What would the son and of the demons of Lust and Gluttony and his mate do? Get more converts for their fathers, of course. Those stories took from the beginning of September 2020 through October 10, 2020.
The Darkside, this is several Bod mod stories featuring a site called MB Engineering that uses nano technology to effectuate changes in their clients.
And my largest worlds is of the ‘Änderungen Stiftung’ or ‘Changes Foundation’.
This is a group of people who can make body modifications to others and themselves. So far, this group is up to 13 stories. Most of the stories entail four men who grew up together in a small town in Central Ohio. Three were born in 1953, and the fourth was born in 1965. They lived and grew up together within 1 one-mile radius of each other. Three of them were within 200 yards of each other.
My other cluster is a group of ‘short stories’ although that is relatively short. Many of the Changes Foundations stories are over 60,000 words long. The ‘short stories’ can be between 69 and 25,000. Within the ‘short stories’ I cluster stories around Halloween and Christmas. I try for a new Halloween and Christmas story each year. Last year I spread the story of Cadmar and Anastasius over Halloween, Christmas, and Epiphany.
I have two unfinished stories that were published on BellyBuilders. I hope to finish them within the next year, but I’m not a fast writer or editor.
When I first started writing I was using MS Word. Then I bought Scrivener and had the joy and pain of learning to use it. Add into Scrivener, ProWritingAid. To correct my awful style, punctuation, and spelling, and those are the two tools I use the most.
