Nativity

Nativity was my story for Christmas 2019. I dedicated it to Jess Mercer. Who while he was on this plane wrote many stories about people who had suffered amputations or other physical disabilities.
In reading this it encapsulates my belief in Christianity. It isn’t a Christianity of a “Santa” God who delivers good things to people who prosper at the detriment of lesser individuals. The church I attend has a phrase that “God loves you no matter what!” This is derived from the book of Matthew, “Nothing can separate you from the love of God.” We have tried to follow that for the past 20 years.
This is perhaps to me the most provoking story I have ever written. That is saying something since I’ve written over 600,000 words since I started writing in about 2005.
I hope you enjoy it and that it moves you to be the light to others.
